so yeah its been like 2 months since i posted....but i get busy and never think about it and i guess there's really not all that much to tell...Kat abandoned me about a week and a half after i moved in with her due to being sick....and i miss her....i have only seen her like maybe four times in the past month...but i am so happy she is doing better and am glad to announce that i should once again have a roommate by sometime late next week...

i'm excited about this weekend because i'll get to see everybody...titus and casie (my favorite newlyweds) will be here...kat's going to make an appearance... and i haven't really seen anybody other than liz in the past month so seeing everyone will be great...but it won't be the same without jil....i miss her so much already...sigh...but hopefully she will return to texas soon...

oh yeah...i was sick too for about a week and a half...with another case of tonsilitis...so my ENT and my mother are insisting i get them taken out....so somewhere around the first of august thats what i will be doing...i won't mind taking off work for it, and i won't mind loosing weight because i can't eat...but i think i'm going to feel a bit like a fish out of water when i have no voice for a week or so...can you imagine me not being able to talk....kind of a funny thought...oh well...its something that appaerently has to be done...

hope everyone had a great forth of july...mine was ok...but nothing like what i am used to...back home the forth is a huge ordeal...probably a bigger thing than christmas in my town...everybody comes home...so its better than a class reunion ...its pretty much a town reunion...there are dances for almost a solid week...rodeos and ropings...craft booths set up all around our courthouse...parades...yeah we go all out...its the biggest partying event of the year...but i somehow ended up staying here and working...i did hang out with some friends and went bowling one night (btw i hate bowling...with a firy passion so i just watched everyone else roll the stupid ball down the shiny slippery lane into all the funny shaped sticks that are put in a silly triangle)...then sunday night we played a little poker and shot off some fireworks...so it was okay...but i missed being home terribly...this is the first year of my life that i haven't been there for it...and everyone called me to tell me they missed me there and that, although it was sweet, only made it worse...sigh...i wouldn't mind so much if i knew when i was going to get to go home but i'm not sure when that is going to happen...i was going to try to make it bake for our big Camp Meeting that we go to every year...but i think that will happen about the time i'm getting my tonsils yanked...so thats out...so no telling when i might actually make it all 11 hours home

as far as my dating life....well...come on ...its longview...that about explains it...but if your interested in stories...well you'll have to call me...but there may be potential on the horizon...but its a little early to tell yet...but it is a possibility...but he cook some great salmon...and he likes me key lime pie...but then again who doesn't...its really good...anyway i have to get ready for work now...sigh...so...if anybody is bored in longview give me a holler and we'll go do something fun...hope to see all of you soon

so i'm so glad that all my tests are done...all i have left is one bible paper and i won't have to think about learning anything until this fall...for those of you taking summer classes...i'm so sorry....i know how it feels and i hated it...

so its been a while since my last post....things have been crazy....great weekends with new found friends, getting closer with others...graduation is this weekend and i know everyone is so excited, i wish i was walking across that stage too, but i'm just a youngun' and still have a ways to go. 

A big thank you to everyone that i've hung out with these past two weeks for making the end of my semester what it should have been all along.  I have had a blast with all of you and for those of you here for the summer, we will sure as anything make it a memorable one...

so girls night at my place again tomorrow night? sounds like a plan to me...before everything gets crazy this weekend i know everyone needs some relaxation time. give me a call and let me know what the concensus is...

oh yeah...and if you can't find me anywhere after next tuesday, its because kat's place will probably be my second home...girl i'm really happy for you and i'll make sure that you don't feel like you live alone, becasue thats no fun...(psssttttt.....party at kat's place.....ssshhhhhh) just kidding, we would never do that...

#10 and by far least important of all, shouldn't have even made the top ten and is hardly worth mentioning, but it was an extremely boring week, but here it goes, meeting with greg to "discuss" our pr presentation and his plans for the summer (for those of you that don't know, greg is my favorite person at LU and i wish i could be just like him and i was so happy to hear of his planned journeys across the globe while i get to stay in longview and work all summer...oh the joys of being rich and spoiled...must be nice...wouldn't know...cough cough)

#9 watching all my seeds i planted get big

#8 discovering that i am not going to have to move out in a month (that one was stressing me out)

#7 wonderful manicure and pedicure that i can't seem time to do for myself, so i let someone else...they paint my nails better anyway...and they massage you hands and feet...feels soooo good

#6 letting someone else wash my hair...when i got it done of course (which also makes this #6) so when you see it tell me what you think

#5 playin hookie from work and going to houston for the spring nationals drag racing event (lot of fast, sexy cars, smell of unburnt nitromethane, hazy sky from smoke from burning tires, and oh, one of the best things in the world, amazing amounts of horse power)

#4 unexpectedly getting a rose and a car full of balloons from a guy that i work with

#3 they finally opened the pool back up, so if you can't find me thats where i'll be, already been twice since friday...gotta love the sun

#2 yelling unpleasentries at my manager then listening to him apologize to me for the cause of the yelling

#1 someone spending the night in jail for fighting over me 10 minutes after meeting me (want details? just ask me...great story!)
